Backyard Beauties
Laverne, Wendy, Tenielle
and Boots are important memebers of the CJC family. They provide all the
eggs for the cupcakes that go to the markets and for many of the other
goodies as well. I cannot recommend chicken ownership highly enough.

Update Jan 12: Santa brought a new girl, Ginger (top row, middle photo) to join the beauties. She started paying her way with a beautiful little pullet egg the very first morning. As she grows bigger her eggs are getting bigger too and even though she looks almost identical to Tenielle, her eggs are a much darker, glossy brown. Vive, la difference!
